The Bridge For Business players participated in the recently concluded World Open Bridge Championships, and they achieved several successes!
Katarzyna Dufrat won a bronze medal in the women’s team competition, narrowly losing her semifinal match. More details can be found in the championships’ bulletin.
Przemysław Janiszewski, together with the Bridge For Business team, reached the knockout stage (Round of 16), where they faced the professional Nickell team.
Unfortunately, the American favorites proved too strong, and the Bridge For Business team finished the competition in 9th place (out of 79 teams).
The Nickell team continued to defeat their opponents and won the gold medals at the World Championships.
Katarzyna Dufrat also competed in the mixed competition, where her team narrowly lost their quarterfinal match, and in the pairs event, she finished in 14th place.
