On October 29, 2022, in Białystok, representatives from the Polish Bridge Association (PZBS), the Polish Chess Federation (PZSzach), and the Bridge for Business Foundation signed a three-party agreement to collaborate on organizing joint events.
The Polish Bridge Association was represented by its President, Marek Michałowski, and the Polish Chess Federation by its President, Radosław Jedynak. Przemysław Janiszewski, President of the Bridge for Business Foundation, signed on behalf of the foundation.
Just before the agreement was signed, the first symbolic event merging chess and bridge took place. In the hall of the Traugutta 3 Hotel in Białystok, a simultaneous chess exhibition (with 20 players) and a Friends of Bridge tournament (also with 20 players) were held concurrently.
